Thursday, October 27th, 2011
The GS 350 F Lexus equipped with the F-Sport package will be heading to the SEMA with a mission to impress the car loving public next week.
The Lexus F-Sport gives the GS 350 a more aggressive stance having new mesh grille, special badging, larger vents on the front bumper, rear bumper with diffuser, and a boot lip spoiler.
For the rear wheel drive version, a set of 19 inch alloy rims hugged by 235/40/19 rubbers in front and 265/35/19 tires at the rear completes the look of the GS 350 F. The all wheel drive variant gets a set of 235/40/19 tires on all of its rims.
Lexus will provide unique colors for the package. The F Sport will introduce to the palette Liquid Platinum and Riviera Red. Other colors will be Obsidian Black, Nebula Gray Pearl, and Starfire Pearl.
The interior of the vehicle provides a sixteen way power seat for the driver. The sport seat will give full control to the seatback, lumbar support, thigh support, and side bolster.
The F Sport still has the 3.5L V6 engine that gives out 306 horsepower. The chassis though has been improved with AVS or Adaptive Variable Suspension, bigger front brakes, and thicker anti roll setup.
There is also an option to get the Dynamic Handling 4-wheel steering system by Lexus which basically monitors the speed, steering angle, yaw rate, and lateral G so it can compute for the necessary steering input.
